A big (major?) problem with UConn's football program


is their stadium is located in East Hartford, CT instead of Storrs, CT (approximately 20 miles or 30 minute drive). Also, the current capacity of the stadium is 40,642 which may become a bigger issue since the State of Connecticut owns the stadium. At one time UConn did have a stadium on campus (Memorial Stadium), but it was torn down in May 2012 to make way for a new $40 million basketball practice facility (UConn Basketball Champions Center),
